Our Family Worship had a great event in one of the young children becoming baptized! Ted and Denise Pulfer completed the adoption of there newest family member and his name is Aaron! Aaron was welcomed into God’s family on June 9 through Baptism! Aaron is adopted twice! Ted and Denise adopted Aaron to be joined with their physical family. They brought Aaron to be joined with (adopted into) God’s family—his spiritual rebirth! Many of our families are learning about Baptism and we pray we will soon have 3 more Baptisms (and prayerfully more)! Please join us in praying for these families and children as we share with them His Great News. Also as we share the joys and promises God gives us through Baptism. If you see in the picture—we use a coffin??! This is a great picture as Paul says we are buried with Christ and raised to new life. No, we do not use the coffin for the Baptism (but I think would be a great picture) because I am afraid it would upset parents. But we show how we want to make death “nice” and we do not like to think about death. But because we are Born again — Born from Above, we do not need to be afraid of death. Death is not beautiful When Jesus died it was ugly. But because He died, our sins are buried with Him, we have new life, and the promise of life forever! Please join us in praying for Aaron, his brother Ben, plus Ted and Denise. Please pray for all the other children and their families that God will guide them to be joined with His family through Baptism. Thank you for your support for our work together in His Kingdom. We want to see ALL people joined with His family and have His promise of Life Eternal! |
