Thank you to the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) of South Wisconsin for their mission grant. We will be using the grant to expand our outreach to congregations around our area.
We want to reach out to the over 4,000 Deaf and Hearing Impaired children and their families, helping them learn how to share their faith. Often families learn school sign, but they do not know religious signs to teach Jesus loves you!
We will also train local LCMS members to sign and be able to support these families. We also will be working with area Interpreters to improve their religious signing skills and vocabulary.
We are working with congregations, leaders, teachers, etc… to plan at least 6 workshops in different circuits each year. Please pray for God to bless our expanded outreach!
